Stolen Vehicle Tracking (SVT)

Your Toyota can be tracked and located by our Stolen Vehicle Assistance call centre and the police if reported stolen[CS4].

How it works


Report

In the unfortunate event of a stolen vehicle you should first file a stolen vehicle report with the police.

Contact

Contact Toyota Stolen Vehicle Assistance and quote your police report number and vehicle identification number (VIN) on 1300 216 738.

Trace

Your Toyota agent will coordinate with the police and provide them with your vehicle’s location information.

Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)

Automatic Collision Notification (ACN)

Automatic Collision Notification notifies the Emergency Call Centre automatically in the event that the vehicle detects a collision even if you are unable to place the call. The vehicle’s built-in sensors trigger this notification[CS3].

How it works


Detect

If an airbag deploys or a severe collision is detected, our Toyota Emergency Assistance call centre will be automatically notified.

Contact

We’ll contact you through your vehicle’s speaker to see if you need help. If you don’t respond we’ll treat it as an emergency.

Deploy

If you need help or don’t respond we’ll immediately contact emergency services with your location.

SOS Emergency Call (SOS)

SOS Emergency Call (SOS)

SOS Emergency Call provides you a connection to a trained agent that can direct emergency service providers to the vehicle’s location if required. This is done by a push of the SOS button located in the overhead console[CS2].

How it works


Stop

If you have a serious accident or a person inside the vehicle is experiencing a medical emergency the most important thing you can do is pull over and stop as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Call

Press the dedicated SOS button located within the overhead console. A member of our Toyota Emergency Assistance call centre will speak to you and determine what help you need.

Wait

Help is on the way. We’ll contact the right emergency services and direct them to your exact location by tracking your vehicle.

We take information security seriously

Stolen Vehicle Tracking can only be authorised when the owner of the vehicle provides us with a valid police report number. Location data remains secure and protected and will only be shared with police to assist with recovery of your vehicle.

Automatic Collision Notification will only engage when your airbags deploy or a severe collision is detected in serious accidents and always through a sophisticated system that ensures your data remains secure and protected.

The SOS Emergency Call feature will only capture data when you press the SOS button and always through a sophisticated system that ensures your data remains secure and protected.

Dependent on sufficient battery power, 3G/4G enabled DCM, GPS signal strength, mobile network coverage, operational related components & other factors outside Toyota’s control which can limit the ability or functionality of the system. Guest required to obtain Police report. Vehicle location information, if available, only provided to Police. Vehicle recovery not guaranteed.
